Post a link. Could just be the stingray c7/ats/lt 6th gen camaro brembo caliper with the paint scheme. Not the ss/z51 brembos ?

If this is the item. These are jl9 calipers smaller rotor brmebos, not j55 which are the z51 spec larger rotors

Yeah those are the ones, so I will need base C7 rotors or the larger rotors? I originally wanted to run the smaller rotors to still possibly fit behind my wheels.
Are they just miss labeling the part numbers? 84089047, 46

Base c7 smaller rotors are what you need based off the pics of the casting. The listing also doesn't mention ss camaro.

The back of j55/z51 calipers have a gusset that those do not have.

On this listing the sticker even says jl9 on it, code to indicate for stingray base/ats/lt camaro caliper

Perfect, so for the guys looking for JL9 calipers, you have the option of buying ones that have Camaro on it instead of Cadillac if you don’t want to go through the trouble of painting them. The ones I bought are off of the 50th anniversary Camaro V6/2.0T upgraded brake package cars.

I’m still trying to find matching rotors front and rear. Doesn’t look to be a ton of options. Ac Delco camaro rears are crazy expensive and hard to come by. Looks like powerslot is about the only option unless you go with centric blanks.

Some new info I see on the ATS / c7 jl9 setup that clears many 17" wheels. Anyone compile a final parts list for the cheapest ATS / c7 jl9 equivalent setup?

Parts list for c7 z51 setup?

For the bigger CTS-V front setup that you most likely need 18" wheels to fit unless you have 17" Race Stars one potential route is:

5th gen camaro rotors 1771050 $69 each
CTS-V calipers part number 1722287 and 1722288 $130 each
CTS-V pads HB453F.585 Hawk $130
Acdelco caliper pin kit - 18K1971X $16.17
10.9 mounting bolts 14mm x 2.0 x 40mm metric - Dorman 14006 Caliper Bolt $10.00
(OEM 18060356) M12x1.75 35mm DORMAN 875635 $16.00
Machine shop cost for increasing bore diameter on rotors $80
Front and brake SS lines 4GCTSVLines $85
Brembo stickers $5

I posted a parts list in post #34, but 1722777 and 1722768 are the newer part numbers because 1722586/87 don't even show up on rock auto any more. For the LT camaro calipers, looks like we talking part 20C790BV & 20C790AV? (172-2776 & 172-2775) For $290 shipped on ebay with no name pads? Are they OEM pads?

If not, 1722777 and 1722768 for $253 shipped on rock auto and buying pads separately may be the better option.

I should get them in on Tuesday. I’m curious myself on the pads. They are described as factory leftovers.

I've been curious about that hard line, too. I'm assuming there's an internal crossover, because people are running them as is.

I bought matching Brakenetic slotted rotors on eBay for front and rear. Ran me about $400. Maybe they have the option for z51 rotors as well. They're a good looking rotor imo.

KNS brakes have good selection of options for JL9 or J55 brembos up front and the fbody brakes in the rear.

Few options to match the rotors front and rear

Z51 / J55 pairing:
-KNS blank fronts and Centric premium rears

Base C7 / JL9 pairing:
-KNS blank fronts and Centric premium rears
-Stop Tech slotted sport front and rear
-Centric premium front and rear

Drilled options too, but that has proven to be a waste and troublesome

Anyone figure out if that hardlines needed or if there is an internal pad through yet?

Those look amazing! I've used those decals on two of my fbodies with stock calipers, and ordered them for my ATS calipers. I'm glad they look so good!

Anyone whose installed these already know if there’s enough room to run the c5 rotor instead of the c7? It’s marginally larger but easier to come by.

no. the pad runout on the brembo calipers is too large for the c5 rotor. why would you even want to do this? The c7 rotors are readily available.

Was planning on the c5 swap until this jl9 swap popped up so I had them already.

Default c7 z51 brakes on fbody

I am giving the z51 setup a try here shortly. If I am comfortable with the fitment on stock ss wheels, then I will start a new thread with pics and a parts list. Not totally sure on barrel clearance. I got a steal on brand new loaded calipers so I couldn't help myself. The XTS j55 code calipers = z51 c7 corvette caliper.

Note*** The corvette guys are claiming warping issues with the 2piece cast Rassini rotors under heavy track load. GM has corrected the issue in 2016 with 1 piece rotors but I have yet to see them available from suppliers.
