Default does the vibration go away eventually on energy trans mount

hey guys I know this question has been asked thousands of times but I was hoping someone could give me a little advice on my specific issue I just installed the UMI torque arm relocation mount in my 98 Camaro 4l60e and with that I installed energy trans mount I shaved the pre load bumps off and installed it. but this still has a heck of a vibration in the center console an a few other spots should I give it time or should I put the oem mount back in

Polyurethane bushings transmit more vibration than rubber.

The problem may not be the bushing per se but the trans to rear end alignment with the new bushing.

FWIW,, Both my jeep and BMW you have to push the tranny to the limits of the mount holes to make it shake free..

My assumption is you may have the wrong mount which changed your pinion angle. There is a F-Body specific transmission mount and then GM mounts. This will throw off your pinion angle and cause a vibration.

The correct transmission mount.

^^^ That's probably it.

WHen i installed my poly mount, I ended up shimming under the the mount to raise the tailshaft which corrected my vibrations.

I've since gone back to a stock mount and now have an adjustable torque arm, which also alleviates the problem

Yes nice..... Also just went thru pinion angle issues with a buddy. Vibration all in the console area. First time dealing with pinion angle issues. It did start with a energy bushing and other driveline issues. Crazy. It was scary going over 70 mph... UMI adjustable torque arm and a gm stock replacement trans mount solved all.

I doubt it. But we explored every option before dropping $500 on a adjustable torque arm.

And lots of time with a pinion angle tool. Which proved he had some issues.
