Default Factory Ride Height Spec?

I've installed coilovers on my '99 Firebird and would like to know if there is a printed factory design spec that shows what the vehicle ride height is supposed to be.

Thanks,
John

Stock ride height for these cars, as measure from the ground to the center of the wheel openings is typically 27-3/4" - 28"

Thanks BMR & HCI2000SS!
Currently, I'm at 26-1/8" all around and it scrapes over bumps where it didn't used to scrape. I think I'll raise it to 27" and then get it aligned.

Just for reference, with my lowering springs I'm now 26.5" front and 26.75" rear, and even with low hanging ORY its not that bad. I definitely wouldn't want to be lower though. My lowest point is my ORY pipe which has a 3" clearance from the ground

All depends what springs and shocks. Mine has stock springs and decarbon shocks up front and the front is 28 1/2 inches from the ground and the rear has stock springs and Gabriel shocks and it sits 29 inches from the ground. I don't believe theres a set in stone ride height for these cars, as it is apparent they're all a bit different.

If you have coil overs. Do your self a favor and have it aligned and corner scaled. Pick a clearance you want and have this done with you in the drivers seat.

Racing alignment shops will all do this. Put a a scale under each wheel. Set the height then cross balance it with the driver in the seat.
