Default Need a slight bump in ride height

Hi all, I'm looking to get another inch or so of ride height for my '00 Z. She has Strano springs and the hub to fender openings measure F: 14" R: 13.75". It's my daily and just looking to get a more compliant ride since there isnt a whole lot of suspension travel. I love the looks and handling but for the next year and a half or so it will continue to be my DD, after that, who cares lol The springs were already on the car and they dont have many miles on them but could be 10+ years old. Dont like the stock look but if I have to I have to. Any suggestions? Thanks!

From 1/2" to an inch most likely.

BMR makes a shock spacer for the front. You could try that. For the rear you could use a thicker isolator and even ad the heater hose mod for a little more height. They also make spacers for the rear as well

No problem. I even have those BMR spacers somewhere on my shelf. Was gonna use then but decided not to. I did use a thicker Moog isolator for the rear with some heater hose to get the height I wanted

Correct, our spacers are super easy to install and will gain you 1/2" over your current ride height

I have one inch spacers for the rear. Seems like if you get 1/2" in front and it's already a little taller, you want a good chunk in the rear.

So I think between the two you can get what you want, or closer to it.

I was just searching for a way to address this. I have the Strano/Koni setup on my 2000 TA, and I love the look, ride, and handling, but the ride height is just too low for the streets in my area. Speed bumps are a problem, as are many driveway entrances. So much so I've damaged the exhaust from it dragging. I'd like to replace the stock Y-pipe with headers and ORY, but there's no way I have clearance for it right now.

I'll post before and after pics later today when I have the BMR spacers on the front and 1" SPC spacers in the rear. I have Kooks LTs, catted Y and LM1 BTW.

We'll see, I've only driven it around the block so will need to put a few miles on it. I can already tell the difference on some of dips in the neighborhood, no more scraping the front plastic piece that sticks down under the radiator. I'm curious to see if I hit the rear bumpstops like I was doing before here and there.

I'm interested on how it does with hitting bump stops as well. What did you do to lift the rear? I read where you ordered the spacers for the front and Sam suggested the rear, but didn't see what you actually used.

Oh yeah, guess that would be helpful, I used SPC #1627 spacers for the rear.

Any idea how much clearance you had before you installed the spacers. I also have Kooks long tubes and their ORY and I have about 2"-2.5" inches of clearance on the driver's side. I have noticeably more on the passenger side, but I have not measured. Nothing is loose, but I'm wondering if I need to try to do some adjustments to the driver's side.

Here are pics of my driver & passenger sides.

Where did you order from? And did you only do the spacer or the hose mod as well?
