Default what do y'all recommend

What do you guys recommend as far as suspension goes for my trans am? Im going to start working my way into doing some suspension work on my car. I didnt get to hit the track like I would have liked because the car was getting a new motor. Right now im making probably 450-500hp. Its mostly a street car that I drive when weather is nice. So I want something that will still be able to be driven on street and not drive too rough, but put the power down on the track. I have never been to the track in this car because there was always something wrong with it. Hoping to MAYBE be in the 10s. Brand doesn't HAVE to be budget friendly, but im not rich.. So far I have:
BMR subframe connectors
BMR adjustable torque arm
BMR adjustable panhard rod

Will be ordering a tubular k member for weight reduction.
**Forgot to add I have a built 4l60**

So you want more of a drag setup over a handeling setup?

At first I wanted basically a drag setup, but its mostly going to be street driven. Only will see the track a few times a year. I do meet up with a group and we go to Mexico for dig races..
I have been told that some suspension components will actually make the car handle like shii on the street with a drag setup. Thats NOT what I really want.

To add to what you already have I would suggest doing lower control arms, relocation brackets, shocks. Also, if you don't already have it, a relocation bracket for the torque arm to get it off the trans. What kind of tire do you plan on running at the track?

What brand shocks should I go with?

I'm going to run a 275/50/15 drag radial.

Bilstein along with either the BMR's or Sam Strano's is what I have personally used on ALL of my Fbods… Along with other mods mentioned. Cannot go wrong with either.

if your focus is more on the track than street driving, I would look at either a Strange or Viking adjustable shock paired with our spring. Our spring rates help keep the tire planted, and the shocks will offer adjustability to control the reaction of the chassis

Focus will be more on the street.
I mean yes I want it to perform on the track and do great in grudge racing, but it will mostly be driven on the street.

I had bilstein and switched to koni yellows. Expensive but a big difference in ride quality. Paired with BMR springs and strano sways. I also cut my sfcs out, they made the car ride way too stiff for my taste and they are heavy. I also have lcs, phb and torque arm but shocks, springs and sways are most important.

I thought sfcs were pretty much a must to keep the body from flexing no?

LCA relocation brackets is a must for traction if you lower the car.

Am I going to experience any issues lowering the car with longtubes? They hang pretty low. Speed engineering 1 7/8.

Bilstein and STR.T are very similar in almost all aspects IMO. Both are great for money. I got the STR.T's simply because they were a few bucks cheaper at the time. No other reason
