How low should I go

typical lowering spring (BMR, strano etc.) will get you around a 1.5" drop, tons of thread/pictures on here showing ride height with those springs i mentioned as well as others. for me personally they still left too much wheel gap so i went with coilovers so i could set the ride height where i wanted it. this is what mine looks like at a little over 2" lowered and i still want to drop it a tad more this season

I’m kinda liking a little raked look. I’m thinking another inch lowered on the front will be good. 2in is way too low. It sucks that the fronts are struts. Not so easy remove and reinstall new springs. Not doing coil overs.

Depends on how much of a drop you can handle from a clearance standpoint. I have Strano springs and they're good for roughly 1.25" drop all around. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to be able to go a little lower, however I can't handle more of a drop due to exhaust clearance over speed bumps.

I had a 2 inch drop when I bought mine. It was too low, hit the axle on the body a lot (previous oeown removed bump stops).
i then went with a 1.5 inch drop I have speed engineering long tubes and true dual exhaust. Also have 10.5 inch wide wheels in the back. I gave no clearance issues when the 1.5 drop.

Two inches is too low, you are going to have a bad time. I bent the upper shock bracket from the A-arm smashing it even with 1200lb springs. The torque arm hits the floor about the same time with the 500lb springs back there. Raised it about 1/2" and it's back to normal now. Eventually it will go back down but only after a lot of cutting and welding.

Anybody running a lowered set up with SLP Headers? The headers seem to sit kinda low so I’m afraid to get the 1.25 drop in the front and 1.5 drop in the rear. Hits every so often as is and I don’t wanna destroy the headers every time I see a speed bump. Any header and lowering spring input would be helpful🙏🏼
