Any lowering springs for 02 ss convertible besides my bmr?
So my bmr 1.25” are awesome but I suppose due to extra weight of convertible the springs have more weight on them and car sits lower than I need because front air dam bottoms out way too often.
what are other springs other than oem that I could use?
is this normal or possible install error . Shocks are Koni str wheels are 17x9.5

Just switched to the UMI/Strano/Afco coilovers for the adjustment options. Drove the car only once as I installed the kit this past weekend but I was definitely happy with the result.

I put SLP stage 11 on my 2000 SS Convertible. The front is close to stock height, but the rear is 26 7/8 in. Sits fairly level.

Thanks for replies and info.
I ll measure the height and take pictures.
Im just not happy with how limited driving I can do at the moment, because either I drive very slow to avoid damaging the air damn or have to be very selective on when to take car out.

I'm installed 4 Strano's. I really don't like them. Made my SS sit higher in the front and low in the rear. I called him and told me the fronts will settle. Been over 2 years and no change. Do you think he will take them back? The Eibachs are a perfect match for my 98. The car sits perfect. Extremely happy!

Not fer nuthin', but the front of your car looks way low. I've got Strano's on my vert with the Koni str.t's. I do occasionally scrape the front air dam, but only on steeper driveways. You can probably see the other cars on here with lowering springs are sitting higher in the front than yours. Is everything in the front suspension OK? The suggested coil overs should give you the height adjustment you may need.
Good luck

Update on measurements.
Front fender lip (L & R) is 25” if measured from the ground.
Rear fender lip (both sides) 26”.
All tires are at 35 psi.
At time of install, front sway bar was also installed.
Car overall is much better to drive but I have nothing to compare it to besides when stock shocks that were on there.
Any idea what to check ? Nothing loose or rattles.
On harsh bumps , it does sound like shocks compressed 100% and they hit the inside of shock tower.
Are there any insolators or bump stop type part that I maybe missing for the front?
