Default Rear axle brake lines on 4th Gen.

It’s been a few years since my 94 z28 was all torn apart and threw somethings away I figured I would upgrade and now I wish I didn’t. My brake system had ABS of course, no traction control and rear rotors. I still have the hard line from the front end and I cut the rubber lines for the calipers off and the hard lines that run out of the hose end. So does anyone have a clear picture of stock setup not black and white? Need to see how lines are ran on axle.

Also I deleted ABS if that makes a difference, but found this part number - CCB93R1 and it says rear axle brake lines for 1993-1997 no traction control and ABS. Shows two lines so just making sure that’s what I need to as don’t remember being two lines.

Yes, there were/are 2 lines. They run from the junction block mounted on top of the rear end, one for each side to the caliper hoses. The shorter one for the left (drivers side).
Pic for reference, as on my 98Z, only difference would be the calipers but the lines would be the same.

Sprayed PB on this and not coming loose so far maybe after sitting for a day. But want to save hard line fitting and bracket and just replace rubber hose.

If you end up needing new hard lines, Right Stuff Detailing is one place that can probably help you out. I got stainless rear lines from them a few years ago, but only needed the line to the driver’s side. I think I ended up calling them. Their website may not show everything they have.

That bracket mounts on the underbody just rearward of the tunnel, the steel line comes from the front thru the tunnel, the hose goes to the top of the rear end.
Mine was rusted ( NE Ohio rustbelt), the steel line developed a leak.

Yes I know routing on that was just wondering how anyone gets these loose as mine won’t and don’t want to break the line.

The flare at that connection is a 'bubble flare' and the fittings for bubble flares are typically tighter than for the standard double flare. There are tube line wrenches, (the small size range of 3/8 10mm, 12mm) and since they're 6 point wrenches, they have less a tendency to round the hex to be able to put more force on the nut. You can't use heat because of the proximity to the hose.

Okay will pick up one of those wrenches and hope the spray loosened it up.

If you haven't ordered your lines yet, I just went through this when I pulled my rear to rebuild it. I replaced all lines out back at the same time. I have traction control but I ordered from this site - https://www.sstubes.com/ and shipping was fast.
