Default New suspension 2000 ta

Can anyone help me out here? Not mechanical inclined, don't have the tools. I can finally get a new suspension which I am pretty sure I need. My main concern I think is raising the height a little more. With the tires I have and the fact that the right front part of my long tube header to the road is about the width of my hand. Can you help me pick out a suspension kit to fix this? Theres a suspension kit to raise this...correct? The suspension I have now is edlebrock over 15 years old probably longer and I think it lowered my height, I don't think there adjustable. My tech should be able to tell me if its lower then stock height right? Plus my new front 245/40 isn’t helping. I want a street driven set up where I do not get knocking sounds over bumps or minimize it and I can still take it to the drag strip of course. I don't care what I have to get to stop the bumping noises or minimize them. I am gonna take your check list to my tech but I am probably still going to get a new suspension. I think about 2 or three years ago he said my suspension was still good but I want to raise it and I don't want the goddamn bumping noises. I was thinking the Bilstein package. The S60 I got installed I think needs to be considered as well, I think I mentioned to you before about the thump I get in the back over a bump after it was installed. Raising it would be the right thing to do…correct? In my situation I would have to get adjustable unless its not lowered right now, which I am sure it is….correct? The Bilstein should raise it back to stock height….correct?

I just bought a full set of Viking double adjustables. Worth every penny. You do not want to raise your car. Just put it back to stock ride height.

You got a S60 too? No noise over bumps on the street?

My car is noisy as hell, it's a race car for the street. But when it was less race oriented, I didn't really have a lot of noise over bumps with the S60, and that's with aftermarket control arms and an aftermarket torque arm.

Haaaa...Do you get a thump sound right in the middle back end when you go over a bump or bridge with a dip at about 40 mph or more? It sounds the same every time.

Afcos are the absolute highest quality shocks you can buy for the fbody and the price reflects that. just messing with the baller part, I bought them to drag race.
