I've got a set coming from that GP, too! I won an auction on eBay Friday for a new set of regular dark gray C5 front calipers with the abutment brackets and pads, all for $129!
I've got Camaro caliper decals, so I'm going to file off the Corvette letters, paint those and my stock rear calipers torch red, and apply the decals and clear coat over it all....
I've also got an extra set of spindles on the way so I don't have to cut my originals. After removing the stock caliper mounting pads, I'm going to grind everything smooth, including all of the casting seams, and paint the spindles and the abutment brackets with a graphite metallic wheel paint that Duplicolor makes....then I'll coat those pieces in clear coat, too.
I'm also thinking about painting the hub section of the rotors with that paint too.....providing that it can withstand the heat generated by heavy braking.

Possibly, but the biggest reason I'm going to do the swap is that it's the most cost-effective way to get bigger brakes on the car. But while I have the chance, I'm going to dress the stuff up a little bit, especially to eliminate the rusty spindle issue.
I can't believe GM left those (and the rear axle) completely unprotected from the elements with no coating or paint whatsoever....
Another reason I want the Camaro lettering on the calipers is that I want to make my Z28 look like Chevrolet took the Z28 concept as seriously as the Z06, like they did with the early Z/28s. The red calipers will accent the NBM, just like the red Z in the vintage 1970 Z28 emblems on my fenders and grille do. The Z should mean something......that the Z28 is the Z06 equivalent in the Camaro

Can these brackets be used with the stock F-body
calipers? I would want to go to the larger 'vette
rotor but keep my stock calipers.
I tried to follow the link but frrax was not found....

No, you must do a full upgrade to the Corvette calipers, Corvette Pad Abutment Bracket, Corvette hoses, etc. You will need "all" Corvette parts, not just the brackets. The mounting holes for the PAB's are larger for the Corvette and use a heavier bolt, this kit requires you to use the upgraded Corvette parts all the way around.
