Buying new rotors. Which ones?
I've narrowed my selection down to 2 rotors. Which ones should i get.
Brembo Drilled and slotted rotors or irotors also drilled and slotted for $298?
I want long lasting and no WARPING.
also, i want to put these on my car asap, i've got some hawk hps pads on the front right now. About half way used. Should i leave the old rotors on or could i put the new rotors on with the old half way used hawk hps pads?

The $80 rotors from Autozone will work just as good as your slotted/drilled/gold plated Brembo's. Get some quality brake pads and blank rotors and you won't notice a difference, except maybe a little more ca$h in the wallet. That's a good thing, right?

I already have eradispeeds and hawk pads. My car stops VERY well, but I have chewed up the eradispeeds.
I was just interested and I do believe the difference between each type is really a mute point. Doesnt really make a difference either way. I bought the car with the eradispeeds and they do look nice. Ill probably replace them with the stockers when these are completely gone.....

There are quotes from Brembo, Stoptech and others in there. These are "heavy hitters" in the performance brake industry. While Brembo is the only one claiming cooling benefits, the 4 or 5 other companies listed are quite firm in their statements that it is a cosmetic mod only. I found it odd to hear Brembo say otherwise, but it's included since it's Brembo's stance on the matter.

Brembo blanks....try stranoparts.com or tirerack.com
I personally don't run stainless braided lines on my street cars. Dirt can work through the braid and cause a failure (worst case conditions).

These are good rotors right?
I am not too enthused with replacing rotors all the time. Looks are important...but a very distant 2nd compared to performance and quality. Would you say that these will perform well compared to stock warped rotors on a car that sees about 1000-2000 miles a year??
Thanks

Yes, they are very good. You can warp anything if you try, meaning don't park the car after sliding from a stop at 100 mph, drive the car for a 1/2 mile or so to cool the brakes, that's the most important thing). I've run the brembo OEM's for quite a while and had not problems at all.
