I did mine myself and they look great. Its been over a year and no fading or peeling. I used 1500 degree paint and clear from a paint can. I made sure that I ground then well with a wire brush before painting and that was it! After five thin coats of paint, I stuck on some trans am stickers and then continued with the clear coat.

I want to eventually do mine myself to clean up the wheel area. I'm probably gonna go with black calipers. What do you guys think: would it look good or dumb with black calipers and red "WS.6" decals on the calipers? And if I do the calipers, I'd just put them on the fronts only. Anyone?

I have not even a small clue how to take off brakes or any of that stuff...I know about cars...but am not up on a lot of the actuall RR work.
What are the most effective ways of grinding and cleaning them up?
Also...do you guys know who sells them...I would honestly just assume buying them...don't have the time, nor the skills to do the work........I think

There was a link to a company that powder coated calipers and sold them, Ill look for it
I didn't do much to prep the calipers. I just cleaned them with brake cleaner. You can use a dremel to sand them down a bit but I think you could just scuff them up a little and be fine.

I would think so, it holds up better than paint does. If I did it again I would powder coat. I'm thinking of powder coating mine once I get to sit the car for a while.
Here You go. They seem to be priced ok too

Just do them yourself. Dupont makes a caliper painting kit with all the stuff you need. Do them on the car, and not with spray paint, its a brush on. I liked it. check out my pics.
