decarbon shocks???

What are the decarbon shocks..someone told me that they were part of the 1LE package...I thought that the Koni DA shocks were in the 1LE package

the de carbons are the stock shocks that come on the f-body according to my knowledge

DeCarbons are factory Z28 shocks. Konis never came factory on any f-body to my knowledge (especially not Koni DA). Could be wrong, though

Early 4th gen 1LE's came with deCarbon shocks, but not the same deCarbons that are on regular F-bods. Later 1LE's came with Konis. www.1le.net

Early SS's came with the 1LE DeCarbon's. The rears are twice as thick as the regular decarbons (easiest way to tell the difference).

Thank you absolut_speed for the link that you posted...acording to 1LE.net the 93, 94, and 95 1LE option cars had the de carbon shock with special valving in the 1LE option group. In 1996 the 1LE option was up graded to the Koni DA shocks..that you sir for you input
