Default What's the best strut tower brace for the money?

Just curious. I've been looking over all the different ones available and I'm having a hard time deciding which one offers the most functionality vs. the price. Anyone care to share their thoughts/experiences with their STB choice?

A used one.

I have a Hotchkiss, I like it fine (it leaves the engine more
exposed and you can take the center piece off for work if
need be). But pipe is pipe more or less. All it has to do is
not bend, and not be stupid heavy.

That pretty much sums it up. There are quite a few quality braces out there, they all function as well as the next, and they're similar in price. You might pay a little more for a special powdercoat color or polished finish, or for better material (chrome moly vs. mild steel vs. aluminum), but IMO you can't go wrong with any of them.

Thanks for the input guys. I don't think I'll be able to get in on the group buy posted, but after reading this thread I'll likely just order a basic STB when I order up an adjustable panhard rod next week.
