Matching Shocks to Springs
I want to get a set of DMS springs and ive read that for the best improvement, i'll need to get shocks that work well with the springs, so how do I do this?
Or you could make it really easy for me and just tell me what shocks under $350-400 will match the DMS springs.
Anyways thanks for your suggestions.

In your price range, there aren't any shocks that really match. Bilstein HDs would suffice, but are really designed for stock springs.
The cheapest "matching" shocks are revalved Bilsteins and will run you $500.

What would match well for a little more dough?

I just installed the Bilsteins with my DMS springs. I had stock shocks on there before and man what a difference. Very nice ride. I've read that without getting them revalved the HD's won't last as long with lowering springs but never found how long that is. I figure by then I'll either move on to another car or change my suspension set all together.

Is the stock vavling optimum? Probably not. Will it make a differnece in handling? Probably would. Enough to notice on a street car? I highly doubt it.
This is just my "half-assed" opinion, though.

My ride with the Prokit and Bilstein HDs was great at first, but after about 12,000 miles and 4 years I started to hate the ride quality. I would go with revalves or Koni SAs.

The rear was all the time hitting the bumpstops making for a bone jarring ride.

You can shop around and find them a tick cheaper, once shipping is factored in.
For my race car, I bought a set for $329 delivered.

Calm down. I don't think there's anything to reciprocate to me.
Forgive me for not listing the uber-cheapest Ebay deals.
I don't have any beef with you, but if you want to be an ***, that's fine.
I thought you were a cool and knowledgable guy...
