I was wondering, other than tires. What is the best upgrade for the traction?
Thanks!
P.S. my car doesn't have t-tops

Best single suspension upgrade and best traction upgrade are two different things, IMO.

What rearend do you have?

well i would say the biggest thing that stiffens your ride up would prob. be subframe connectors.

I would save for a 12 bolt, personally. There are lots of guys out there cutting 1.3-1.5 60' times with little more than tires and rearend.

There's always the SFCs, LCAs, TAs, etc.

in my experience with my setup, it would have to be the LCA's def. helped handling and traction tons. get some relocation brackets to get the most out of them.

LCA's for traction.
Best suspension upgrade has to be SFC's.

LCA's work great for eliminating wheel hop, sub frames will increase the rigidity of the entire car.

LCA's, but an adj. ta will really give you some traction. I set mine at -2*.

Man, I'm sitting here thinking about it, and I can't think of the one biggest upgrade to my suspension. New springs and shocks were a huge step in the right direction, but so were my subframes. Sway bars also helped a lot with how the car felt. My LCAs made a nice difference, but you have to know your car to feel the difference. Going through 4 sets of LCAs until I was happy helped too

If I was going to do it in order of cost/overall effectiveness, I would go:

1. Subframes
2. Sway bars
3. Springs and shocks
4. LCAs
5. Panhard

If you are going to drag race, don't worry about the sway bars so much, and get shocks and springs that will help you launch instead of help you handle. My front-to-rear weight transfer isn't as good as a drag setup, but I like to drive around corners in town at a pretty good clip, so I had to make a compromise.

What about for traction only, not over all handling.

Tires are where it all starts.
For corners, shocks & sway bars...
For straightline, shocks & SFC or LCAs

My best mod overall has to be the strut tower brace bar, this did wonders for my Camaro.

I'm bucking the trend here - for handling, SFC's don't do jack, compared to the difference a set of Konis makes. SHOCKS, SHOCKS, SHOCKS.

I have the SFCs because I put major miles on the car and wanted to make sure the unibody held up for the long haul. They may end up helping with that, the car still feels pretty solid at 120K. But when they were installed at 10,000 miles, they made zero difference in how the car handled or felt.

The single biggest improvement in handling came from the shocks. Koni SA's are worth their weight in gold on these cars. I've got the bilstiens in the back, but I think Sam Strano's current package specs the Konis for the rear as well, he's found one he likes as much as his bilstiens.
