You can do it and they will bolt right on, but wont help you stop any better.

They don't "just bolt right on" unless you have the appropriate brackets, and some brackets require cutting of the spindle for it to work.

As for the performance of the C5 brake set up, I think a few will argue with you...

He said "calipers", not rotors and calipers. In which case, they basically bolt right on. And, there will be no performance gain (actually, the smaller pistons will shift your brake bias towards the rear of the car).

Ahh I assumed he ment the complete kit, I never really heard of someone just adding the calipers with out the rotors? I guess because there is no gains

All you get is the "pimp" factor by installing these.
Heck, the ZL1 camaro has these on and so do quite a few members here.

Yes I ment "just the calipers". I have the C5 upgrade kit and it made a huge difference in brakeing.

yeah i heard it doesnt make that much difference with the rotors and calipers, i just want the calipers for the cosmetics, so i dont need the brackets if i just want the calipers and does that go for the rear to because i can get both Z06 fronts and both rears new for under $200

I would get them for $200. I have a set i'm going to put on hopefully this weekend.
The rears are exactly the same as our f-bod's. The only difference is that they are powder coated red.
