Default Wholesale Direct---Opinions

Ok, i am thinking of getting the brake rotors from them soon for my 01 TA. But i have seen that they have had some trouble at first with shipping and waits. I have also seen some good things said about them. So i wanna hear peoples stories on them. All stories, Good, Bad, or just plain nightmares. I need to see if the price is worth maybe having a hassle or not. I also want to provide others interested with soem information on them.

My front brakes have squeaked since day one last fall when I put their pads and rotors on.

Their service is good sometimes and bad others. Metalic brake bads tend to squeel. There's not much you can do about it.

If you don't mind waiting for your rotors and not having a great line of communication with them... then Wholesale Direct would be good for you. iRotors, also a sponsor here, sells rotors as well.

Shipping was a little slow, but they were very nice people to talk to. Linda was very helpful.

Hmm, ill check out Irotors. I could handle waiting for the rotors to arrive for a month, if it saves me a good amount of money. From what im seing though, i dont want the pads that come with the wholesale kit anyways.

Had a slight delay on delivery which was not a problem for me . Overall quality is very good. I am currently using Hawk pads with no problems with squealing whatsoever.

Hmm, so far there are more problems with them than anything. they are however shipping problems, and i am not in a hurry. so im not too concerned with the time. has anyone had quality, warranty, or delivery problems with therse guys before. I want to hear how those went and what happened to make the customer happy.

Recieved mine within 10 days time. I have been running them for over one month now with good results. For the money saved I was willing to wait a few weeks if that is what it came down to. No squeaks here. I did remove the plating from the braking surface before installing them though. I just did a very slight cleanup cut and them hand deburred them. I am just picky though.

Sounds like these guys are probably the way to go. I should probably give them a call sometime soon and set this up. Thank you all for helping me decide.

I've heard both positive and negative things about them, more good then bad though.

let's forget about the delivery problems, how is the product?

Zinc coating hold up? Anyone have to get a warranty replacement yet?

Yeah, thats all i am really concerned with. I have brakes, so if it takes two weeks, even up to a month, i will be dissapointed, but it would be worth it to save some money. All I really care about is the quality of the product now.

I got my rotors from wholesale direct, the shipping was a little long but I didn't mind since it was winter. The only thing I didn't like was that the pads were just wrapped in paper and were not in any kind of individual boxes. They are supposed to be Axxis ceramic pads, but they could have sent any kind and I wouldn't even know. But the rotors do look good.

<edit>
I actually haven't installed them yet because I just got them, but I just noticed a problem with mine. The 2 front rotors are different; one of them has 8 sets of holes and slots and the other one has 10 sets??? I going to email them right now.
