Default Need stock spring codes; Help!

I want to dump my Eibach kit and go back to stock springs. I went to the dealer and they gave me two part numbers for the springs...

2M-2N

or

2K-NL-ZP-ZR

How do I know which springs to order? These are the codes that are on the spring themselves... which I no longer have (obviously).

Anyone??? If you have the stock springs laying around somewhere, I would appreciate you checking them for me.

Thanks.

I've got my stock ones here, but all I can find is a yellow sticker on them that says FZM and a number 220xxxxx something. Where on the spring should they be?

Why don't you have the stock springs, did you trash them?

How much do they cost new? Have you considered get some from a salvage yard or asking around the forums? I'm sure other folks have their old stockers laying around.

If you want new ones and can find them, look for the 1LE springs. They are the same height, but 60lbs stiffer up front and the rears are progressive 130-180 instead of the 115 stock rate. Real sweet if you don't want lowering springs.

I forgot to pick them up from the shop where I had the springs done... and they tossed them. This was like 4-5 years ago though.

I can't fond new ones except from GM, and all the info they have is what I posted above. They are of no help. I'd prefer new, but if I have to do salvage I will.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Dave

SLP sells "take off" springs, they say they have about 5 miles on them. The used to have front/rear combos but they must have sold all the rears. Im sure that GM will charge alot more that $25 for a set of new front springs(but I might be wrong?) You could get the SLP ones and a set of new/used rear springs for a decent price. hope it helps.

My parts manual lists 3 rear spring part numbers but doesn't give any explaination to which suspension packages they are linked to. They are:

22132889, Code HS, HR, Hi, 97-02
10305134, Code TF, TH, TJ, TK, 93-02
22077421, Code TF, TH, TL, TK, 92-00

You might try running these numbers through the GM Performance parts WEB site to try to get more info on the applications.

Have you called SLP? Their "take-off" springs are basically new springs that they took off to put their springs on. They probably have some left over. It's a good deal and you can't beat the price for new springs.

There's no such thing as a WS6 spring. Most WS6's used the regular TA springs, some were ordered with SLP level 1 or 2 springs. You might make sure they are not lowered springs.

There is such a thing... take astock WS6, pull off the springs... there are your WS6 Springs. Regardless of if they are regular TA or no... it's better than possibly getting a spring off a 6 cyl.

I know your just being funny. Some folks think there is a difference, though.

The V6 springs are definetely different.
