just like most other mods, most people are partial to what they have on.. at the time of getting my bmr's, i had generally heard good things about them, and they have worked out great over the last year. either one you go with, you wont be disappointed. -g

I have all bmr stuff and like them alot, though as someone else said im partial to what i have. I can say this, everything fit like it should and works like it should. Im sure there are better companies out there. I bought on thing bmr and when i got it and it fit right and the build quality looked good i just stuck with their products. Im one of thoes guys that likes to have matching components(ex home theater i like to have all my speakers from the same company). There are a ton of other good companies out there like sphon, hotchkis, and slp.. Its your choice....

Why not? They are just as strong as anyone else on the market, yet they are cheaper. You have nothing to lose.

I am pretty sure the design is the same, so even though I have BMR SFCs I would say go with UMI. UMI is cheaper and I have never heard one bad thing about UMI products, though I have read some bad stuff on BMR. Good luck.

I've been out of the game for awhile, but last I checked, UMI only offered boxed style SFC's. If you're looking for tubular, go w/ BMR. If boxed, I would go UMI. Good luck.

True, if looking for tubular, UMI isn't going to help. I'd personally go with the Spohn over BMR though if you don't want to run the UMI ones. Don't have any real reason, just personal preference I guess.

Kind of like asking "Do you like the originator or the imitator?" Personally I like the BMR boxed good product from a well established company, have them on my car

If the imitator's just as good, and cheaper, I'd go with the imitator.

I've got BMR SFCs on mine, but I don't see any problems with going with UMI. It's just a hunk of metal in a certain shape, that's all.
