Arrow What to have for better cornering?

My car currently has the SLP Bilstien option with shocks and springs, bigger front and rear sway bars, Auburn rear end, and STB and urethane bushing throughout. Performance is LS6 motor, tuning, 2800 stall and 3 inch exhaust with bullet. Tires are Kuhmo MX'a on all fours. What do I need to make the car corner better? I know subframes will help but when it comes to road race or cornering components I really don't what what works good. Any help guys.

Angus , you will likely get your answers at www.frrax.com . There are no easy answers and it depends on what you want to do with your car.

Thanks. I will look into it. I am just wanting to make it stronger than it is with cornering. I do not need a auto-x car. Just a car that corners on the street very well. I guess something like Z06 or the like.

"I don't want anything super fast, just something that will hang with a GT3 RSR."

I think your only other mod to hang with a Z06 would be if you got some peformance rubber, try to make your car 50/50 weight wise and drop some 300lbs ....other wise its like almost impossible.

get some polished alluminum wheels if you don't already, that will drop some weight.

How much improvement are you looking for Angus? If it's just a street ride, the Bilstein package SLP put out isn't bad at all, especially since you already have it. It's certainly a vast improvement over stock. I don't know that the $ you spend on new shocks and springs is going to be worth it to you for a street ride, especially when you're looking to improve upon an already improved suspension.
