rubber flex pipe for underground plumbing, a little piece of pvc, and a strech of shop vac hose, some epoxy to help the the holds and come zip zies to hold the hoseing in place ..... it only requires one small cut of the under car plastic piece that can be done with scizors and all in all it should take like 20 min a side or less to do.. latter this week when im bored ill do the drivers side install and i guess ill take pics for you all if anybody knows where i can get it hosted ill do a writeup and pics ...

In the name of not re-inventing the wheel, here is where we (many racers) have gone before you.

Look at the posted dates ...
Maybe you can learn a few things we all found and come up with a good solution. God knows many of us tried and tried and tried ...

i dont have my ducts right on top of the rotor their back by the brake lines i dont see why it needs to be so close everyone ive taled to said thats its a bad idea to put the ducts on top of the rotor beacouse it cab cause too much cooling ... i dont know how true this is but..... anayways i used 1&1\4 inch shop vac hose coupled to rubber flex pipe that starts out being 4 inch in diameter t copule the hose to the bumper ill post pics when i do the drivers side ive already done the passengers side..
edit: do you all think that hose is too skinny?

OK PICS UP PM ME IF YOU NEED INSTALL HELP ... thew only thing i would do different is instead of going from 4-3 then 3-2 and then using a 2 inch connector that utalizes a 1 & 1\4 inch hose i might try a to shave out the 2 inch rubber end on the flex pipe and shove the 2 & 1\2 inch shop vac hose in there.. my only concern here is routing it as you can see the hose in my install is not right up on the rotor tis is beacouse i dont believe it is nessary or even safe to do so due to it might break away and jamb something up and the air at 100mph should moving fast enough to make it there as long as the duct is pointed at the rotor the air will have no choice but to flow over the rotor to escape the wheel well.. whats good about my install is i elive it will be verry reliable and unlike all other installs ive seen it looks real clean ..as in you dont see big slsicon hoses routed crazly all under the car...all in all this brake duct install might not be the best if you are a hardcore auto-x er but for us t\a owners that just want to add some functionality to the gill slits in the front bumper while helping to cool their rotors i think its a great idea ......
let me know what you all think if you all need more pics i can take em just let me know of what you need pics of also all parts were bught al lowes the flex pipe is sold in plumbing dept.. all you need is a 4" to 3" flex pipe then a short piece of 3 inch pvc then a 3" to 2" flexpipe then the shopvac replacment hose kit that has the 1 & 1\4 inch hose and some glue or epoxy
also on the lip of the 4 inch flex pipe i did have to shave the inner walls a tiny bit with a razor and bend the rubber a few timesbeacpuse its a very snug fit to the inside of the bumper for the gill all you do is fold the piede into a oval and push it on i put some glue on the lip of the flex pipe just to make sure but you probally dont need it once you get on tight since the fit is really really snug... on the 4-3" piece i wasnt able to utalise the band clamps on either side but on the 3-2 piece both band clamps can be used to tighten things up what i did was the the 4-3 piece on the bumper and all glued in place then linec the lip of the 3" pvc with clue on both ends and stuck the 3\2 icec toether and tightened the bancclamp then slit the 2 pieces on the 4-3 flex pipe then last put the shop vac hose in the 3-2 felx pipe and secured it with the band clamp then you cut a small well 1 & 1\4 inch hole in the plastic below the duct work and route the hose over to the sway bar .. tip tie it up there and then run it thru the k member and tip tie it again and last cut off the excess hose........
for any of you that have just read all tha and are still confused just buy the parts and youll see its common sence you really cant **** this up
good luck!
