i know my car is dirty as ****, but here is a before and after with bmr 1" springs. do yall think the rear will settle down a lil bit. or should i do the hose mod. here are the measurements:

Front Driver - 27 5/8" to 26 3/8" -- 1 1/4"
Front Passenger - 27 1/2" to 26 3/8" -- 1 1/8"

Rear Driver - 28 3/16" to 27 1/2" -- 11/16"
Rear Passenger - 28 1/4" to 27 1/4" -- 1"

Hey guys I just bought an 01 SS that has been lowered and when someone sits in the back this thing will bottom out really easy! Is it time for new shocks or is this just common on lowered camaro's? Also if it's it's time for new shocks and struts what do you recommend and where to buy. This car is a DD

it sounds like the springs are texas toast

so it's the springs!? Hummm wonder how you'd tell which one it was? Shocks have 98k springs?

well can you look at the springs and see what they have written on them. as far as what brand. my guess would be that you have eibachs. and im sure you could use some new shocks if those are stock with 98K.

man this is still not a sticky,,, i just spent 2 hrs searching for this thread and its not 2:21 am,,,,, geerrr,,, but thanks to everyone whos added to this thread its great... a must see if you are lowering.

yeah it is a sticky. haha look in suspension and brake FAQ it's like the 5th one down.

hehe opps
anyone else here run Spring Tech ones I just put them in my TA and it rubs on the pass. side rear,,, I have about 100lbs of stereo equipment in the rear well and a full tank of gas,, its not too bad but add a passanger or 2 its kinda bad. Im ganna see what I can do to even it out a bit... heres my pics
Are these the same as other brands?? like dropzone or anything??

-Spring Tech 1.75 drop springs with monroe shocks w/ spring isolators (sorry forgot to get measurements before)

another important factor would tire and rim size. combining that with the actual drop will make a huge difference in appearance..

yes your right,,,, but a properly sized "plus one" or "one up" wheel size, will be the same overall diameter. (eg.) the 17" wheel and tire package i bought from oewheels is the same overall height as my stock 16" wheels and tires.

Need to Add Vogtlands in there. Im willing to donate a pic of my car just did the lowering actually 2 months ago. 1.2" drop.

18" ZO6s. Front 18x8.5, 265/35. Rear 18x10.5, 315/30. Koni 4/4 with Eibach Pro Kit.

BEFORE:
Front- 26 1/4
Rear- 28 1/4



AFTER:
Front-25 1/4 (on lower perch)
Rear- 26 (went with a smaller series rear, 40 to 30)

I've had DMS Springs with stock shocks on my 1996 Z28 for a few years now and they ride pretty good. Are they still making them, I thought that they were out of business?
