For those who want to see ride height after springs

I have always wondered about my car being lowered what would you guys say from looking at it? The springs are red in color and the shocks are orange does that ring a bell to anyone.

Course, then again, are KYB AGX shocks orange or red? Most pictures of them look red, so I'd assume thats the case. As for the springs...could be GMS?

You will need shocks capable of handling the stiffer springs, I use Koni SA shocks. For the budget minded I would recommend Sam Strano's revalved Bilsteins (http://www.stranoparts.com).

Anybody running 6 cylinder springs? I'm trying to decide what direction to take with my car and I have a friend thats about to give me the stock springs off his 02 6 banger. I recognise they should be softer, but curious as to the drop they provide. Specifically up front. If I go the drag route I'd think the softies up front would help weight transfer some.

eiback pro-kit with bilstein hd shocks. handles great, rides fine - but could ride better on some rough roads. when it is time to get new shocks, i'll go for the adjustable konis.

I'd be curious about the tire size and the actual measurements, because as you can see the springs have been pretty consistent on most cars except those that say either really high or really low to start with. Even the really high ones came down noticably (and about 1.2"), but still looked like they were on stilts.
I'm sorry you don't like the height, but you are pretty much the first person who really hasn't, and the only things left that are tangibly lower are Pro-kits, Sportlines and the like.

on no Sam please dont take this the wrong way. everything you sold me is great. and your a great help also. always going out of your way.
i just though the springs would have been a little lower like my other cars with a 1.25 drop. my car is an SLP with no lowering option. i mean it looks better than it did before but i really wanted to have down a little over the tire. so it could have a nice small gap. my tires are 275/40/17.
what are the odds of cutting your springs down just a tiny bit? what are the next BEST springs that will lower but wont screw up on em or cause problems if i indeed do decide to change them?
