I have pacesetter LT with ORY, factory I-pipe with SLP dual/dual. I still have factory muffler.
I just ordered prothane mounts from summit. this weekend the bitch will run and if she vibrates and "wom wom wom's" then i will drive her off a cliff and not look back

you do plan to jump out of it first right?
pacesetters, TSP catted y and stock Ipipe and muffler. my ipipe is resting on my tunnel brace, so once that gets fixed, then ill see if that does anything to help out.

I totally agree that even though we all have vibration problems - it may be due to several contributing factors - and different ones for each of us.
In my case I am not using poly motor mounts/tranny mount - nor do I want to. The main reason people are using from what I can tell is to stiffen up the motor/tranny combo in order to alleviate ancillary components such as the exhaust from hitting the underneath of the car. This may work, but is nothing more than a bandaid for the problem - which, in fact, INCREASES the amount of vibration the driver feels from the driveline due to the stiffness of the mounts.
I have checked my entire exhaust system and it is not even close to hitting anywhere - so that is not a factor in my vibration.
The vibration in my case seemed to start with the install of the Spohn T/A - I previously had a Random Tech T/A that mounted in factory location of tranny tailshaft with no vibration. Again, I am not blaming it on the T/A itself - but feel that my PA is highly suspect as to how it was set.
The vibration is present at/around the same 70mph speed no matter which DS I use - and (2) of them were expensive, supposedly highly accurately balanced versions. The vibration in my case DOES get worse the higher the mph goes above 70. I also realize that this is a RPM related vibration not mph - but everyone's rpm will be different due to rear gearing.
The vibration is NOT located in my engine or tranny - I can put the car in neutral and rev it to 7K and there is absolutely NO vibration. In my case I can also rule out the rear as it has a fresh rebuild and that rebuild was done before the addition of the Spohn T/A and the start of the vibration. My vibration definitely originates somewhere between the tranny and rear.

For those of you havnt seen it, here is my video of my vibration http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...11462900636130

I assume your car is lowered? Because if it is, you have changed the suspension geometry regardless of what T/A you have.
That vid of your vibration is worse than my vibration - and I thought mine was bad

update: I took my car down to a local shop that deals with high end cars, some ferraris, porsches, and bmws etc... they are the best in the area. I just got a call that they have checked a few things and believe that they, after balancing the tires/rims, they believe they have the vibes solved but believe that I have an engine miss balance due to some vibes at 1700 rpm.

The thread that will never die!
Here is my Vibe story. When I bought my 2001 SS last summer it had a really bad vibe. The fix for me was new Rims and Tires. Even ballanced rims can vibe if the tires have flat spots or other problems. I think mine were just not ballanced. My last Camaro (2000 SS) developed a Vibe after I lowered it.

Well, I never thought about flat-spotted tires. I was told that the new design radials don't really have that problem? But I can see that if they did, that might be a source for vibration in my case - maybe not all - but a contribution.
My car sets in the garage under cover from November to April every year - and it's setting on the tires most of the time (unless I'm working underneath).

last night i put my ES TQ arm poly bushing on the factory arm. Put a new rear seal in the tail housing. i put my ES tranny mount back in also. I am waiting on my PST driveshaft to arrive. I am also waiting on my Prothane mounts which should arrive today from Summit. Then mounts i am re-thinking due to heads on the work bench and having to drop the headers anyway. I probably should do them then and save on the cuss words
front wheels and tires i plan to have them switched and balanced by the weekend.
flat spots are something i am sure i have due to the car sitting so much. I try to drive it to work once a week but due to the mess i am in now the car has not moved in 2 1/2 weeks. I know the drivers front is cupped real good. the rears are BFG drag radials and i want to have them balanced again. i have owned them since June of last year.
i still have the UMI LCA's and relo brackets to put on but i am not a welder and am trying to get my buddy over to weld them just waiting on him to find time.
I hope all this helps but wont know anything till the weekend after the driveshaft arrives.

just trying to figure something out first
i have the asp 25% again, i didnt notice vibrations either, but i have had a few issues that may be related to the pulley. mainly shaking under high loads. not too relevent to this, but more for me.
