Default Question for ppl with lowered cars

I have a car with a 2" lowering kit on it, and the other day I called a company to be towed, and they said that they can't put a lowered car on ANY type of towing vehicle. Does anyone else have this problem? Or is there a nation-wide company that can tow lowered cars?

oh dont worry, get your car towed by the city, and they sure as hell can tow a 2 inch lowered car, lol

As for a company that will tow a car properly, I don't believe a 2inch drop can be towed other than putting it on a trailer.

my last car was dropped 1.5" and the tow company basically scraped everything under the back end of the car, never scraped anything before while driving. good thing was that the car was already totalled due to an engine fire so it didnt matter much...

Once you get that lowered the drawback is that you can't have anyone tow you. I did it several times last year and had to hook a chain to the K mem and have a buddy tow me. I put duct tape around where the chain would touch my front gfx. No damage done.

We have a guy around here who does most of the towing for the car crowd when in need. If the car is lowered he just uses boards to help draw it up on the flat bed. Never had a problem.

You're fortunate because when the tow guys around here realize they'll have to do anything out of the norm to tow a car they make a break for it. Every time. They're afraid of liability issues and complications which I don't blame.
