I'm using Suspension Technique springs. Only a 1.2 inch drop, good if your running headers. I also have a TSP 3" catted Ypipe, and ground clearance is still pretty decent.
If your worried about traction, relocation brackets are a must. Even with just the 1.2 inch drop my traction went to ****.

Pacesetter longtubes with Hotchkis springs. The headers clear fine. The y-pipe tends to scrape, but not nearly as much now that I have decent shocks.

I'm running Sportlines with Kooks and haven't had any scraping problems.
Lowering your car does decrease your traction because it changes the pinion angle. That's why it's a good idea to get relocation brackets for the lower control arms; to correct lost pinion angle and increase traction.
