Default strut help

I am lowering my car and took off my struts yesterday and the nut on the strut is rusted really bad and i can't get them off. i want to reuse my old struts because the car only has a few miles on it.

any suggestions would be great

uhh funny....mine are the exact same...i went yesterday to do it and was told i need new struts...the bolt on the top was completely rusted...i dont wanna jack ur thread but i need the help too...

I would try heating it and some penetrating oil then use a good impact. that should do it.

u should. i dont see any reason y not. just be careful not to heat it too much.

this is a poor design on gms part . im going to try and heat them tomorrow i hope i dont have to buy new ones

Done I Just Soaked Them In Pb Blaster And Got Lucky
