Default Has anybody installed C6 ZO6 brakes yet?

I was wanting to find out if anybody on here had thought about swapping to the C6 ZO6 14" front rotors and 6 piston PBR calipers, and the 13.4 rear and PBR 4 piston calipers? On a C5 they are a direct bolt on, no adaptor brackets needed, and they sell the brackets to bolt on C5 calipers and rotors on to the F-body and well with the same brackets the C6 ZO6 brakes will be a bolt on also?

I also wanted to find out if the 98+ F-body and the C5 corvette rear brake rotors are interchangable? Is the park brake assembly the same between the 2 cars? Like im building a Sonoma GT, and am going to install the 98+ F-body rear disk and wanted to know if the C5 or C6 ZO6 rear rotors will fit the F-body park brake setup???

Man that 14" rotor is gonna need some serious rim to fit inside....that would probably be the limiting factor - most fbodies don't run 18 or 19s

It has been done successfully on a C5...it may work on a F-bod considering the similar nature of the wheels.

I had pondered this for awhile now. If the c6 brakes work on c5's I have the c5 upgrade on my TA so why won't it work on my c5 brackets. I am running 19's right now also.

Supposedly, rim minimum is 18". This is one of the next mods for me so I'd like to see if anyone else has done it yet.

would these be possible to install on an lt1 car? i currently just have cross drilled and slotted rotors with red powdercoated calipers for looks... but C6 ZO6 brakes would be a bad *** improvement for me

Last time I heard, thoes pads were 30 bux each. Not much untill you realize you have to buy 12 of em. Not to mention that LG ditched the factory brakes in favor of a stoptech setup on their car.

im interested in how this goes. z06 brakes would make it stop on a dime. but $360 for new pads, ouch, having 12 of them better make em last longer
