Default STB or PHR

Hi, just got my paycheck and ready to blow a hundred or two.. I'm just curious what each would do for my car and which would be worth spending my money on. Thanks..

Panhard Bar, with the build tollerance of these cars, GM should have installed one from the factory.

Neither.... both would be a waste of money at this time, unless you like eye candy, then I guess a STB would be nice. Save your money.... Good Shocks is the single best improvement you can do.

Shocks. If you are heart set on choosing between the strut tower brace and the panhard, get the panhard, although there isn't much point if the car isn't lowered. What is your goal with the car (ie what motorsport if any), street...etc

If you're planning on lowering, get an adjustable panhard bar. If you want a mod that will make a bigger difference right away, save up for good shocks or a set of bigger swaybars, like a 35mm/21mm combo.

I disagree, I made the lca and panhard upgrade early in the mod list , as well as upgrade to the adj torque are, I thought I got a lot of performance in the handeling department for the money, and I spent less than the cost of 4 shocks.

shocks, shocks, shocks.

Then swaybars.

PHB would be much wiser than a STB, but also not near as important as the PROPERLY PICKED shocks and/or swaybars.

Car has a PHB stock. Not the coolest thing in the world, but some cars don't even have such a setup stock. Matter of degrees folks. There is very little wrong with the stock PHB, the same cannot be said for the stock shocks bars and other things.

No offense, but you still don't have shocks so how can disagree that shocks aren't the better option?

I see you are from Greensburg. I had a nice gentleman from there come up here once. He rode in my car which at the time had just shocks (Koni's) and a front swaybar upgrade. His car has SFC's, PHB, LCA's, STB.... everything *but* good shocks and better swaybars. One ride in my car, and he bought those parts from me. He's even on this boards, I believe his screen name is something like 1quikws6 or something like that. You might know him. Point is, it was clear the shocks and bar were much more help than all the stuff he already had. He even was amazed that my car felt, and I quote "smaller" than his. It's not, but since it does what it's supposed to do, HOW it's supposed to do it, you don't feel as if you are driving a big, ponderous pig....

STB does look look good but does not do much. PHB look good and u can feel. Get the poly / rod end one from spohn. Byun speed has good price. Shocks will make more of a difference, for the better.

Between the two, get the PHR first. It'll make the rear of car feel tighter, and you'll notice the difference.

Since you are lowering the car, you will need better shocks and the PHB. A lowered car will trash the stock shocks in no time. Good shocks make tremendous difference in handling; PHB makes a tiny difference and is mainly to center the rear axle after lowering.

Just a thought in a different direction, I noticed in your mods a short throw shifter wasn't listed. I would spring for that before the PHR or STB. If you had that or your set on the two above listed items, then I would go for a APHB.
