Default People Putting Out 550+

Ok, when you start putting out power in the 550+ range with a stock rear suspension is it possible for the rear suspension components to twist. Because there is a difference between the tire and the side of the fender well on both sides of the car. Hope everyone can understand what I am trying to say.

Typically having your rear end uncentered is a result of changing the ride height. Have you changed your springs? If not, even spring settling can lower the car a little.

And yes, it's also perhaps possible that the power has bent something.

I'm not really sure if you mean side to side, or front to back.

Well the rear end seems to be sitting at an angle on one side the tire is closer to the rear of the fender well than on the otherside.

Ok, then it seems as though your lower control arms are not the same length. Either one bushing is damaged, or the arm is bent, or they simply aren't the same length from the factory.

(or the car's body is twisted, but that's something we don't want to think about.)

With street tires, it's unlikely that you'll be able to put enough power to the ground to cause any serious flex in the rear suspension components.

With DRs or better, you certainly could hook hard enough on a well prepped track to cause an LCA to permanently bend, especially with 550+hp. That's easily enough hp for low 10s if not high 9s with the right suspension setup, and none of the stock components are up to the task for those kind of times.

One thing to check is the installation of the relocation brackets. It would be easy to weld them in funky so that the axle is cranked.
