Default best subframe connectors? strongest?

Looking for some subframes for a 2000 t-top formula. Want to get the strongest out to help stiffen the car some, don't care about price or if I lose some ground clearance. Any good suggestions?

I like my UMI 3 point, they seemed to stiffen the car up really well, they come in bolt in or weld in, and a choice of colors.
FYI I didn't lose any ground clearance, in fact you can't even see them from the side

I just had BMR tubular SFC's welded on today. If you know what you're looking at, you can see about a 1/4" of each on from the side, but otherwise they're well hidden.

UMI 3 Point Bolt In, love'em...night and day. I'd go w/ the torque arm that connects both subs together also.

I have an old set of the thin flange Wolfe Racecraft connectors that were welded in when the car was pretty new. It has been driven very hard, and the car is still stiff and rattle free.

So I really don't think it matters which ones you go with, as long as you weld them in. I prefer 2 point tubular SFC that tuck up right to the body. LG Motorsports makes a very nice set.

UMI Performance 3 point. There quality is top notch, and their customer service can't be beat.

I've had my BMR boxed SFC's for a few years now and couldn't be happier. Still look brand spanking new.

Definitely a 3-point. No sense in getting a 2 point if you want to add SFCs for increased strength/rigidity.

The UMI's look nice. Certainly better than the Kenny Brown Double Diamonds (the first 3-points I'd heard of).

I went with the SLP 3-points. When I got mine, there were really only 3 choices, Kenny Brown, SLP, and one other company I can't recall that had the center section bolted into the main SFC bar (not a true 3-point).

I think the SLPs look a bit stronger than the UMIs (box tubing vs round), but the UMIs look like they would tuck up more nicely and be better for a slammed car.

I'd say, SLP for absolute strength, UMI for best strength/ground clearance combo.

(And get them welded in, just make sure the shop knows the suspension has to be loaded during the install)

UMI weld-in boxed 2 points here. Tuck up nicely and more than enough unless you're going to go with a body mounted torque arm.

Yeah, the more I read, the more I think I'm going to go with UMI 3 points, even though I can't use their setup to connect them to the TA (because of my true duals). Ryan says he has a setup for me though, so I've got to talk to him as soon as I get some pictures...

Do you have any pics of it installed in your ride?
