Default relocation brackets or hose mod?

I need to lower my rear stance a little bit to get some more clearance around my tire and the rear quarter. I just switched to a 28" tire. I would 60ft. good before(1.62-1.56) with a 26" tire. I just switch to a bigger tire, full spool and 4.30 gears. I hooked great with out the relocation brackets, will I hook better with the brackets? Then I read about doing the hose mod and pulling the upper spring cup rubber. The hose mod should get me a 1/2 inch so for now I'm going to try that.

They always change the link angle in the direction
that favors bite. More than you need to not spin, is
just no benefit -now-. But next mod, you might be
on the other side of it, so what the hell, do it. Used
bolt-ins are a can't-go-wrong proposition.

Unless you hook so well you break something between
tires and motor....

That's pretty much why I did it.

I'm confused though. Why would you lower the car if you're putting bigger tires and trying to gain clearance? Maybe I'm missing something...

just b/c you want bad *** traction, doesn't mean you don't want your car to look good.

the tighest spot is in the front and back of the tire, not the top. The way my car sites is a little high in the ***. If I drop the rear 1 inch it would be factory height or higher because of how my adj. torque rail is.

No, I havent yet, my buddy does body work and paint so I'm gonna have him take a look to see what he can do.My problem is at the bottom of the wheel well opening. I drove onto my car trailer and strapped down the rear to see if it would hit and it was fine.
