Default How Low Can You Go

How much can I drop my 98 z before my 17x11's with 315/35's rub the fender well? Has any one dropped with 17x11's?

No but I'm dropped 2" w/18x12 335s. Even a 17x11 w/315 will require modding to fit without rubbing. When you lower it you'll have to de even more. When GM made the fbodys they didn't have wide tires in mind for the rear. That's why you can do a 335 up front with no mods and have to mini tub it for 335s out back.

315s (F1 GSD3), 17 x11 50mm offset wheels, dropped vehicle, equals no issues. All you do is get an APHR to ensure that the rear is centered, and do the BFH deal. You will be fine.

That car looks awesome. The only thing that gives it away as not being an 98+ T/A is the hard top, but Hard top>T-top

Full 2" front and rear. Probably more to be honest. Intrax springs w/new shocks. APHR=adjustable panhard rod to center the rear end so tires won't rub. BFH=big freakin hammer to beat the livin daylights out of the inner fenderwalls to make room for bigger tires.

G2 Super Springs are my springs. Springs did not lower the car that much, about 1.5 all around.
