Default not hooking with bfg drag radials

went to the track last night and with 275 bfg drags, a healthy burnout, couldnt get the car to hook for squat. I was launching at like 2000 then 1500 and just kept spinning. I got like a 2.0 60 ft, but that was the best i could do ran a 13.0 but i know it has more in it. Is this a supsension issue?

Probly suspension. But have you tried lowering your tire pressure? If its a drag radial, i find that 19-23lbs of pressure works best for me.

How much power are you putting to the ground?

I found my best times on those same tires to be with almost full tire pressure (30 psi). The only suspension I had done to my car with those tires was springs & shocks and I doubt that was making a big difference. I saw low 1.80's with those tires and even a 1.79. Now I am using mickey thompson d/rs, they are pretty badass as well.

Was the track prepped with a nice coat of VHT?

I hooked up with street tires this past Sunday. You know the track is hooking up for you when cars start to break.

My best 60 ft time was a 1.82. I want to move to a drag radial next.
