Just got off the phone with your wife Sam, and she informed me that the springs were still not ready. I was just wondering if maybe you could shed some light on any current news with them?

First post was 5/11/06.... 19 days ago (2.5 weeks). In which I said it would be approximately 4 weeks for the first batch or springs to arrive. They are wound in Germany and sent to California on a boat, then to me on a truck. That takes some time, and we're still a week and a half away from the *estimated* time of arrivial. Nothing has changed as of this time.

I knew they weren't ready, I was just wondering if there was some kind of crazy update on SOMETHING that vendors always seem to have. Also, thanks for not getting upset for me calling your mom your wife. For some reason that got confused, she was VERY helpful with my shipment. Great dealing with you guys.

Why would I get upset about my Mom? You don't know me personally, I don't sound like I'm 12, and she doesn't sound.... her age. You couldn't have known.

As for "updates". Nothing to update, and I have plenty of stuff to do.

Hope all the shipping info for the other parts was cleared up. Seems so!

I am getting all wet again reading all this stuff. Ordered the full pkg from Sam last week and just waiting to get it. I have got my Konis and I might go ahead and put them on just to see what difference they make over worn out stocks. ANTICIPATION!!!

I am sitting back quietly and anxiously waiting. Don't worry, when the time comes I am sure Strano will chime in.

I'm going out of town at the end of the week so if they aren't going to be here this week then I need them to be sent to the address i'm gonna be at for the next two weeks. That's my only issue. I still feel like a kid waiting for Santa though.

Europe to California? Those are some well traveled parts. Are you sure they are not wound in China?

Can these springs be used with stock shocks like the Hotchkis can? If so i will be interested in one of the ten sets if all are not spoken for.

"Hotchkis springs can be used with stock shocks" is a very subjective topic. Sure, they will physically work but it will be a terrible combination of parts (stock shocks are not even adequate for the stock springs). So Sam's springs will technically work with stock shocks as well, but it will be an even worse combination of parts (since I am guessing Sam's springs will be quite stiffer than the Hotchkis in the front).

I hope Strano loads up on stock when he begins selling them, because I have a feeling they will be in high demand.

Update.... They are somewhere in transit still, that's about all the update I have on where they are.

As for use with stock shocks. No way in hell will I sell these to someone with stock shocks. Of course, I wouldn't sell you Hotchkis, or Eibach, or ST, or any other lowering spring to you with stock shocks. Whoever told you that was ok it a moron, and that includes if it was someone @ one of those companies.

As for stocking up. I have 10 sets spoken for. I might get a few more in on the first batch, but I'm not going to release them even if there are a few more. I need to know that what I want it what I get, and the test group is going to remain managable. When I'm satisfied with the result, I'll release any "extras" for sale (if there are any) and put in another order for production. Not until then. Good things come to those who wait, and I will not rush something with my name on it.

Once your ready to start your production run of these, I'll be in for them and whatever shock you feel fits my situation Sam. You'll be hearing from me when the time comes.

Sam- are you willing to post the spring rates? Will these work with front revalves that you did for 1LE front springs?

All the first run is gone. That's a small run of springs that are going to people to check ride heights, etc.

As for the rates. Not a secret, but I'm not going to give all the details, yet. Once I have all my ducks in a row that stuff will come out. Suffice to say the rates and heights are based on a very proven, winning combination.

As for the shocks. I can't say if Revalves for 1LE springs will work. Might, depends how aggressively I revalved you particular shocks (which I can't remember, been years), but the rates of my front springs are quite a bit stiffer.
