It'll be a while to be honest. 8 weeks or so. Have to make sure all is right with the first sets before I go ordering more.

Woo hoo! It's July! Maybe i'll get these springs before my birthday, which is at the end of the month. I know it's out of Sam's hands, but damn.

I would assume that if they're coming from Strano, they're intended for the twisties, not the drag strip.

1.25" drop, spring rates not known at this time until testing is done. The first 10 people who ordered are awaiting the springs so they can provide feedback.

What's wrong with the springs falling out? I think that's a nice little feature of the GC kit!

That way you don't have to unhook the shocks to get the springs out. Just jack up the car and watch them plop out on the floor. I like to take mine out and give them a good coat of wax ever once in a while!

I used to be excited, but now I just have to remind myself that I did actually buy springs. It's been THAT long.

I know how you feel... I live in the UK and all the parts I order (from any supplier) in the states, takes a long time to get here... damn customs people etc.

Sam was one of the quickest I've ever dealt with, so I'm sure he'll be chasing the new springs along!

I'm certainly very interested to hear the results of the testing... depending on the results, I'll get a set to go with my Koni SA's.

I hope the 10 "testers" are ready to give quick feeedback!!

I'm in limbo with the rest of you..... I wish I had some news, but I don't. And I'm not going to put any stock in the "updates" anymore because they haven't been to accurate. Believe me, I want the springs worse than any of you do.

Good things come to those who wait. It took a while for my bars to come to be as well. As *soon* as I have them, you'll have them. I promise

Quick question, will these springs be "stiffer" than an equal height drop from another spring company (BMR, DMS, Eibach, Hotchkis, etc)? I know spring rate is a product of the height, but is that the only factor?

Reason is, i'd like to lower the car around this same range (1-1.5") but not increase rate too much, if possible.

Seeing as how we dont know that many specifics on these springs, you might want to call Sam to get a definitive answer.

Rates are not going to be secret, but also I'm not going to spread them around publicly. At this time I'm having a hell of a time even getting the first sets here, which makes me leary about doing another run of them. I hate to keep you all waiting, but I'm not in control of this because I can't make them myself.

Let's just say that my springs are linear working rates (and 100% linear in front) and that was important to me. And they will be about 1.25" lower than stock which is the maximum I feel it's smart to lower one of these cars while maintaining decent shock travel and suspension geometry. And I'm not known for insanely high spring rates, and the rates are derived from the rates I run on coil-overs on my own car.
