Koni Sa's and Ground Control nightmare

I am about to kill myself. The GC coilovers do not fit over the konis. I dont even know what to type. All of the threads I haved searched have not helped. The Coilover base will not fit over the konis. What do i do....

You have to modify the top hat of the shock to get the coilovers to slide over. Check this webpage out to see the problem, which is probably what you are encountering:

Click on "Suspension" on the left navigation menu, and then scroll down a bit to see how to modify the shocks. You can either grind it down like they did, or make a special tool to remove the jam nut. The special tool ends up looking something like this:

Scroll down to the third post to see the tool, and instructions on how to break the nut loose. Good luck.
