Default Huge Suspension Problems

I instaled an Eibach pro kit and after about 3000 miles the car is all over the road. It drifts and floats and is really unstable. I haveny done any other suspension stuff and would like your opinion. I also have 17's
Thanks
David

Was everything ok for the first 3000 miles? Have you checked the springs for damage? Are the wheels properly torqued?

The springs are fine. I used a torque wrench everytime i take them off. What I am thinking it is the lca need to be dropped and there are angles that are off in the rear end

I am willing to bet its either an alignment problem or your stock shocks do not like the new springs. Did you align your car after the install of the eibachs? Check your tires for uneven wear.

You can't put lowering springs on stock shocks. Those shocks are probably destroyed by now. Get either Bilsteins HDs revalved or Konis.

it's impossible to say what your problem is...

decarbons definately will not be able to control pro-kit springs...

the only thing you need to do to the rear end is install control arm relocation brackets... that's probably not your problem though

if you have the cash buy some Koni Sport single adjustable shocks... and if you're a little short on cash, then get some revalved bilsteins from StranoParts

A blown shock will have your car driving like sh*t. One of my HALs just went, and it felt like I had just put my car in swing mode.

I didnt re align the front when i put the springs in. The front looks toed in. I liked the look so i didnt bother. I was thinking about taking the springs out in hope that it would make it better but if my shocks are gone I guess not. Would Hals work for my setup? Also do you think the back shocks are toast as well?
Thanks

We replaced stock DeCarbons on friends car with Hals and that made a big difference (plaus one of his stock shocks was blown).

Not that this would cause your problem, but did you use jounce bumpers when you installed the 17's?

I am a new member. I am going to LG next week to get a new clutch and springs installed. Is it really necessary to change the shocks as well?
