Default Cracked rotors after 2000 miles!

I havent been to the track yet and they are cracked. Why is it so hard to get a good set of brakes for these cars.

Check your calipers. I cracked 2 new sets of rotors before I realized my calipers were sticking.

How do you know your calipers are sticking.

Nick, does your rotors have a blue tint to them by any chance? Thats one good indication of sticking calipers. Excessive heat will turn them blue, and mine were constantly turning blue.

Since we have calipers with the pistons on one side you need to take the sliders out and greese them. They will be one of the sets of the bolts that mount the calipers to the spindle. That will help solve your problem. On top of that if you look in the HELMS you notice that the wheel TQ procedure is to torque the wheels in 20 ft lb incriments, now that is REALLY ****, so that would help.
