Which SFC'S are better Global West,BMR,or the Kenny Brown's. I would like to order them next week, but I don't know which one's to get. I am also going to get long tube headers so will they clear?

FLP's will not fit with double diamond SFC's (SLP & Kenny Brown) without modification. But DD SFC's are the strongest. My vote is for Kenny Brown.

BMR have slight fitment issue. They hang low and you lose a little ground clearance. They are stout though. The KBDD SFC's are very strong and tie everything together. My vote is for the KBDD SFC's. Sorry don't know a whole lot about Global West

BigBos' car has the BMR Tubular SFC's.
They do not hang low AT ALL. When the car is parked, you can't even see them.
On the otherhand, the BMR Boxed SFC's will hang down about 3/4". It isn't bad at all, and they are visible while standing outside the car.

From what I have heard the Globel West are the strongest and they are lighter than the KBDD's, plus you have no problem with them getting in the way of the longtubes.

I've got the KB DD SFC's and had no fitment problems with them. They are the heaviest SFC's but they tie in at more locations making them the most efficient(strongest) SFC's and you can't see them either. The only prolem I've had is,If you decide to go with a Wolfe bolt in 6 point roll cage the cage bolts will come right thru the SFC's in several locations. Hell just weld in the cage and you have no problems.

The GW are beefy as all hell.
There are no fitiment issues, they tuck up under the car (can't even see them), and they don't get in the way of any other mods.
I shopped for a while on this, and I settled on GW's.

Go Global! Very stout and stealth. I've used every place on each bar for a jacking point. BIG BIG difference in chassis stiffness.

No problems with my kenny brown except they are heavy..no real ground clearance problems either.my car has slp eibachs.I don't see any problems with my planned tts headers and they are supposed to be no problem with my planned spohn torque arm.If I did it again might have gone with hotchkis ones or some other make thats lighter as my car is a fat big right now..3640 with full tank of gas.

I'll give it to Global West. I'm using all thier suspension componants, and they are great quality, very strong. I just got thier LCAs in today, and these things are monsters. I was sold on the SFCs from them after driving a friends car equiped with them and that car felt so solid and connected. They aparently went in easy too, with no issues. Now if they will just get mine to me. One thing about Global West, is you have to wait a while to get your parts.

I've been very pleased with my GW's. They are relatively lightweight, do not interfere with LT's, and tuck up nicely. Chassis rigidity vs. stock was night and day. My only complaint (and this is minor) was in my case the driver side front didn't fit perfectly (the passenger side slid in like butter) - it was angled a couple of degrees. The shop doing my work is experienced in chassis work and they said the fitment was actually better than most and it was no problem. I'd definitely recommend the Global West.

I have Granatelli and they are identical to the Global West SFC's. They are very nice and tuck up under the car very nice. Very strong pieces.

I paid 140 for the KBDD's to be installed, it was a little expensive, I hear of guys getting it done for 75
at any rate, the guy did a very good job on mine, i really cant complain. If something is going to be permanantly attached to my car, I dont mind paying more to know it will be done well.

I took them buy to a local muffler shop, put it on the lift and dry fitted the SFCs. Took a black marker and marked where they would fit.
I went home and sanded the paint at the weld points on the car and the coating on the SFCs at the weld points. Took 'em back and he had them on in about 20 minutes and cost me $45.

I'd go with either G2/GW/GMS, they *look* like the very same design, though GW says theirs are
slightly bigger.
I'm very happy with my G2 (got'em from LG motorsports for $170 - it was a special). Fit perfect, they're tucked in very neatly. Perfect for lowered cars.

Have you checked out these http://www.spectaclesolutions.com/fbodyframe.htm , the guys that have these say there just as good as the SLP bolt on's but at have the price. Don't let anyone tell you that the best ones to get are the weld on kind, you'll be very happy with the bolt on SFC and you can do the install yourself.

I've had the KBDDSFCs on my car for the last four years and 45K miles with no complaints. This is my second F-body with Kenny Browns.
They are solid, and the car feels solid!! Although I have heard "suggestions" that they look flimsy and one can't jack the car up under them, I don't ever recall anyone having had a problem doing so.
The only real problem with the Kenny Browns is that they are the only SFCs with a design that seems to make them illegal to install on a car running in SCCA Solo2 Street Modified class. They were the first modification to my car four years ago, and long before I began to actively participate in autox events.
