I didn't actually weigh the RT and stock. But by feel the RT does seem to be lighter.

I'd call RT before ordering...I called them last year also looking for a lighter TA...their tech said their adjustable arm was 2 lbs heavier...not signifigant but I was looking for a 5lb loss (putting the car on a diet). They could be lighter now.

They aren't any lighter. I have one... The lightest TA I know of is a stock TA from an A4 car... It has no undercoating on it like the M6 TA's do.
