Biggest bang for the buck is the stock torque arm until you start running in the low 11 second range. Mine worked just fine, as well as a ton of others on this site, until I started running in the 11.0 range and bent it.

The LG one works good for me though.

In the name of science I'm going to try the el cheapo Edelbrock piece ($169 shipped), I only run 12.50s but have continuing traction and wheel hop problems even with ET Streets, plus my stock one appears to have a bend in it. If it sucks I'll put it on Ebay and probably make a profit . It looks like a pretty good piece though.

Understand the bending thing but I was under the impression of the aftermarket torque arms helping with traction? Could someone weigh in on the traction aspect. Thanks.

If you want traction, invest in tires first. A torque arm isn't going to make a crappy set of tires grip any better. Fix the tire limitation, and if you are still not hooking up, work on the suspension.

I know guys that have run 10s with a completely stock suspension, including LCAs, torque arm, and shocks. Tires are the key, suspension will help those tires even more.
