TCS switch...who has it?

TCS switch...who has it? I have an 2001 LS1 A4. I took off the stereo panel and saw that the wiring for another switch is there (next to the fog switch wires). Is that for the TCS?? Do i have to buy the switch for it to work? It has the plug and looks like its ready to be hooked up to a switch. Can it be done?

No, adding the switch will only lighten your wallet.... Even if you had a thousand dollars to blow, I don't think you could get it done.

Re: TCS switch...who has it? Since you're in California, I can't think of a reason you would need TCS/ASR. I have it on my '00 A4 Z28. It's a must for me since I have driven this car through 2 Michigan winters...without any scratches, dings, etc which is amazing.
I sometimes use it for highway travel in the rain. Put your money into something worthwhile.

I didnt have it on my white 2000 camaro ss, but I do on my 2000 NBM SS, i hate it, I allways forget its on, i dump the clutch and people think i dont know how to drive it because it just bogs down, it really is a waste if u dont live where it snows, the only time I use it is when its raining, and thats only when im bored, I enjoy going around turns trying to make it spin out and it wont. but dont waste ur time or money, hope that helps

Try doing a burnout at the local track with your slicks on in front of all of your friends and forget that it is turned on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> Been there done that.
