Default Need input on Eibach and Hotchkis Springs

I wanted G2 lowering springs for my LS1. They seem to be out of them for now.
Does anybody have input on the Eibach or Hotchkis spring set? Would i be able to use either set with my stock shocks?

Just lowering for the looks and daily driving, not for racing.

Thanks for any input guys... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

If it were me I'd wait for the G2 stuff - I think LG's parts are great. But with that said I'm currently running Eibach Prokit springs and am very happy with them. IMO, you'd be well served doing shocks when you do the springs. It'll save you money in the long run and it'll make your ride much better. I'm using SLP Bilsteins with my Eibachs and I couldn't be happier with the combo - of course I don't do any road racing either.

I have the Eibach pro kit with Bilstein shocks. Dropped the car about 1.5", handles great with the Bilsteins. Didn't handle as good with the stock shocks and the springs actually pulled the car down about another 1/2" with the stock shocks on. Due yourself a favor and do both the shocks and springs at the same time.

I just had my Hotchkis springs and Bilstein revalved shocks installed last weekend. It handles way better than the stock set up. It lowered the car over 1 inch and the car also sits level. I heard that Eibach springs sit lower in the back.

I insalled the eibach sportsline kit on my 02 z28.It lowered it 2 inches. Didn't like it , was rubbing alot! Switch them out with the proline kit, it raised it 1/2 a inch in the front but didn't raise the back at all!! I only did the springs because the car was only 2 months old.It rides good but I'm thinking of replacing the stock shocks to raise it up 1/2 a inch. Pat

Springs will determine the ride height of the car, shocks will simply dampen the oscillation of the springs.

The Eibach springs are designed to allow the car to sit level. Having the rear a tad higher looks cooler, but doesn't help an already nose-heavy vehicle such as ours.

How much will the G2 springs lower my car?

How much will Hotchkis springs lower my car?

How much will Eibach springs lower my car?

Which spring set will give my car the "Bitchin" look?? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I would be patient and wait for the G2 springs.

My Eibachs were great till I exchanged them for the G2s.

The rear rate is so much better for our cars on twisty, road type courses.
