I used the Wearever Gold's from Autozone They actually work really well, no noise and very low dust.

"Hawk Performance burnishes its High Performance Street brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance."

How do you "bed-in" pads?

When I need to do brakes, I go to advance, or auto zone and just ask for the best, highest quality pad they have for my car. They gave me the wearevers, and they're doin just fine!

by heating them up with 25-0, 45-0 and 55-0 stops starting with moderate pressure and slightly increasing speeds and pressure until you see smoke coming from your tires, then you wait for cool down and your good to go,

I've got Hawk HPS on stock rotors. They work fine, but next time I may give EBC green a try.
