Default Stock rotors or Auto Zone rotors?

What would be the better deal and which ones last longer?

I heard good things about the Autozone rotors. I'm not sure about the price of the stock ones, but I'm guessing they are alot. So if you're going to pay alot might as well get some proven aftermarket ones.

I have 100K on my stock 96 ones, so I might be getting Autozone rotors soon.

I had the AutoZone rotors for about 20,000 miles...Had NO problems...and they never warped at all....Felt much better then the stockers.I have since gone to the power slots and like them even more. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

My dealer quoted me $102 per rotor for stock rotors. I bought OEM replacement Brembo rotors from www.tirerack.com and paid $61 each. I am running them with Carbotech Panther Plus pads and haven't warped them yet. Hope that helps....good luck...

I guess i'm just going to go with the Auto Zones unless I decide to spend a little more for the power slots that I origionally wanted. But thanks alot guys.

if i remember right, KVR's and power slots are just "modified" Aimco rotors. well autozones are Aimco rotors. i have a set in my garage (i now have a ZO6 upgrade) on my shelf that are blue and purple from heat, and not a hint of warping. i even use the autozone C-5 rotor for track days. if i crack a rotor, its only $55 to replace it. and you can most likely get one that same day and finish the event.

A more permanent replacement would be the Baer Eradispeed rotors. They're drilled, slotted and zinc-washed to prevent rusting (where the pad doesn't touch). I kept warping the factory rotors, but after the upgrade to the Eradispeed rotors I've had zero problems. Plus they look good behind the factory wheels and add a slight custom touch. People seem to like/notice them as I get a lot of comments on them. They are also a direct replacement...

What are the differences between the F-Body rotor and the Vette rotor? What has to be done in order to use them? Can I use the stock rotors? Will they work with 17x9.5 wheels?
Thanks,
Bart
