Losing Brake pedal feel...what to do
I know i need to get my rotors turned (really need new ones) and new pads but also im losing pedal feel on braking, im having to put alot more into it to stop, i used to not have to press so hard, it used to be a "tight" feel in the pedal. what can i do to tighten to feel back in the brakes so im not pressing it to the floor?

Re: Losing Brake pedal feel...what to do
no break bleed, my tires are still good except my left front tire has different amount of tread then others, so it pulls to the left and i guess i have 50% tread left on goodyear eagles, non z-rated.

Re: Losing Brake pedal feel...what to do
If the rotors are excessively warped, they will "knock back" the caliper pistons and there is a small amount of slack (space from the relaxed piston position to the rotor surface) to "take up" each time you hit the brakes. If the rotors are really bad, I guess it is very possible that you will use enough pedal travel to reach the floor just to get the pistons tight on the rotors. Second possibility...bleed the brakes and get all air out of the system. Good luck.....

Re: Losing Brake pedal feel...what to do
I definately get the warped feel, and slack in the pedal (not to the floor) so im hoping soon i can get new tires cause i checked today and my front ones are getting bad, and hopefully i can get my rotors and brake pads changed.
