What advantages do you get by getting an aftermarket panhard bar???
I'm still running around on my stock panhard bar...totally forgot about that piece of suspension..
So far I got...
BMR poly LCA's
BMR Trak Pack Torque arm, -2 angle
BMR tubular subframes
BMR crossmember
Would I gain anything by adding a new panhard bar??

Resists side to side axle movement. Most of it's work is done when cornering. Stock rubber bushing will allow some movement. That's not wanted during high speed corners. I think bushings are the biggest difference. It's plenty strong for what it was designed to do. Basically the force it's resisting is making it stretch and compress. Pretty hard to do with any metal. It will bend side to side as it's not meant to resist that nor it is faced with that force. That's what LCAs are for. I still can't imagine it moving in a way that rod end or ends would be needed. Hopefully somone can chime in on that issue.

If you are lowered, your axle might not be centered under the car. A ajustable bar would be required to fix it. Also if you run 315s in the rear, it would help to keep the axle in place during hard cornering. This might help to keep the tires from rubbing the inner or outer fender.

An ADJUSTIBLE panhard bar can adjust the rear, others don't. If they aren't adjustible they're a waste of money. Aligning the rear is their only noticable purpose. Otherwise just throw some poly bushings in the stock panhard and call it a day if you're worried about squeezing out a little more handling...
