Removing calipers question....
I want to really detail my calipers, but i don't know the procedure to remove them properly, i.e. disconnecting the brake line etc. Is there a document that can help me? It seems simple enough to remove, but what is the procedure when reattaching, aswell as removing air in the lines etc. Thanks.

Re: Removing calipers question....
If you remove the calipers from the brake lines, youre gonna have to bleed the system. Theres nothing to it. If you wanna save yourself some time, dont take them off. You can do it with them on. Hope that helps!

But depending on how many miles you have on your car, it would be best to take them off to paint them so you can rebuild the calipers. You would be supprised on how much dirt is behind thoes seals. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Go to www.installuniversity.com and they have a document on how to do it just incase. Its not as hard as you think it would be, but with so lil miles I doubt you would need one already.
